Our employed and affiliated physicians offer a wide range of medical expertise. More important, our physicians are connected to you and your care. Our physicians are active in their neighborhoods and communities.
 

Here are our physicians who have found ways to use their skills to serve others:

Dr. David L. Webber ~ Physician/Owner

 

Dr. Webber came to Marianna, Arkansas August of 1991 to fulfill a National Health Care obligation. He had completed his residency in family medicine at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Marianna, Arkansas was chosen as his site because it was close to his home town of Greenville, Mississippi. Upon completing his service obligations at Lee County Cooperative Clinic in Marianna, he moved to Helena, Arkansas, where he went into private practice stationary (Webber Family Practice). He was the first residency trained African American family doctor in the Tri-County area (Phillips, Lee and St. Francis) From there he started the Marianna clinic as a night clinic which blossomed into a fulltime clinic in 2002. Late 2005, Dr. Webber ventured to Forrest City, Arkansas and started Webber Medical Complex. Since that time, the medical practice has grown and continues to service the the Delta area with quality health care services.

Dr. Susan W. Balke ~ Physician

 

Dr. Balke was born July 5, 1951 in Steven Point Wisconsin to John & Bernice Balke. She is ,married and has three children. Her undergraduate years were spent at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She completed one year of graduate school in Biology and while working at the University Dental School the following year, applied to medical school again, this time to Osteopathic College.  Upon being placed on a waiting list, she opted to join the Surgeon’s Assistant Program in Birmingham, Alabama and completed one year before being accepted into Medical School in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated in 1983, and then proceeded to serve a relating internship @ Eisenhower Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She then accepted a position at Lee County Coop Clinic (a federally qualified health center) in Marianna, AR to fulfill her Public Health Service obligation.  During that time, Dr. David Webber was also serving his obligation as well, she served @ that location until 2001, at which time she joined with Dr. Webber @ his private Family Practice in Marianna. She is .Board Certified in Family Practice by the ABOFP, and licensed in the state of Arkansas since 1985. Her awards include the AR Osteopathic Association’s Humanitarian Award in 1991, and the  UAMS Outstanding Referring Physician Associate Award in  2002. Her medical experinence and training is extensive. We are fortunate to have her on our staff.
